Starting in 2021, a combination of factors has triggered a global energy crisis focused on electricity, coal and gas. Energy is the basis of sustainability, and traditional energy sources have been unable to meet human needs, and there is an urgent need for energy transformation. Electricity is an indispensable form of energy in modern society, and the transformation of the power system is the core of energy transformation, so further promoting the energy revolution and accelerating the planning and construction of a new energy system are conducive to the realization of clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy development requirements and the long-term goal of sustainable development. Therefore, the 6th International Conference on Energy and Sustainability (ICES2024) focusing on the topics of energy, power and sustainability, aims to provide a cross-industry platform for experts, researchers and scholars in related fields to exchange and share their latest research results and trends, so as to promote the energy transition, seek more environmentally friendly and efficient ways of energy and power supply, and achieve the long-term goal of sustainable development.
